DAY 1: of the 14 Day Raw Food Cleanse

Hey Beauties,

In my research I came across some interesting pros and cons of this cleanse. The cons I can live with. Check it out below.

*For starters this is not a diet, it is a cleanse please let’s keep that in mind.

*There are different length’s of this cleanse:

3-Day Energy Boost Cleanse

Shelton suggests that everyone begins with the 3-day cleanse because this gives you the opportunity to discover how your body responds to the cleansing process. Some people experience detoxification symptoms such as headaches, nausea, and fatigue while others report none at all.

This Raw Food Cleanse is based on raw juices, green smoothies, salads and low-glycemic fruits.

7-Day Rejuvenation Cleanse

This longer Raw Food Cleanse is recommended if you are recovering from a lifetime of poor diet and lifestyle choices, or toxic environmental exposures. It gives your body systems a chance to rest, restore and rejuvenate.

This is very similar to the 3-day cleanse but with a little more variety for food choices.

14-Day Deep Detox Raw Food Cleanse

This cleanse is appropriate when you have a bit more weight to lose and if you have already been successful with a shorter cleanse. It promotes a deeper detox, renewed energy and increased fat loss.

The first seven days are liquids only and the remainder of Raw Food Cleanse is a diet with a very high proportion of raw foods.

28-Day Total Body Reset Cleanse

The longest Raw Food Cleanse is advised for those with more serious health issues and the most weight to lose.

You will follow a liquid diet for the first 10-14 days consisting of fresh juices, smoothies and raw soups. This is followed by a diet based on a variety of raw foods.

Pros

  • Can help to cleanse and detoxify the body.
  • Emphasizes the benefits of breathing, yoga and exercise for reducing stress.
  • Highlights the importance of adequate sleep.
  • Provides meal plans and a large selection of raw food recipes.
  • Includes suggestions for maintenance.
  • Includes inspirational stories of those who have achieved good results with the Raw Food Cleanse.

Cons

  • Requires a significant overhaul in eating habits for most individuals.
  • Most people will experience some degree of detox symptoms including headaches, nausea and fatigue.
  • May be difficult to do the longer cleanses while maintaining normal daily routines.
  • A large proportion of the Raw Food Cleanse is devoted to testimonials.

As I do more research I will be sharing more info.

RAW FOOD CLEANSE

Hey Beauties,

I went to HOPS in Va. on Monday and ordered ribs, Yes, I know, I know, I know it was too heavy for me. My back was hurting my stomach was crazy tight just the worst miserable feeling in the world. On top of that I was still eating food which just made it even worse.

Well, I went to the gym yesterday though I was SUPER tired. I actually sat on the bench in the locker room for 15  minutes thinking should I risk the chance of getting a rash on my face by laying down on the bench that’s how tired I was, but thank God for our instructors in the gym at my job.  They will encourage you even when you don’t feel like being encouraged lolol.

So, I asked one of the instructors if she knew of any good cleanses and she told me that another instructor is actually doing a 3-day raw food cleanse. So I asked the instructor about this raw food cleanse, and she told me that she is doing it for 3 days just fruit and veggies and that it will bring out all the toxins in your body and cleanse your kidneys, liver, your intistines.

Now, me that sounds like a fast lolol one I am not prepared for lolol, but she told me to google RAW FOOD Cleanse and so I did, and was pretty excited about the benefits of this cleanse. For one it’s all natural so your body will be cleansing itself naturally without the harsh chemicals that in some of these powdering cleansers. Two, you are eating healthy food that promots efficent digestion. Three, more energy. Four, of course the weight loss factor of this whole cleanse, but that is not my focus. My focus is to just rid my body of all toxins kind of like a clean start to a whole new begining.

I went to whole foods yesterday spent 80 dollars on nothing but a nice variety of fruit and vegetables. I am doing this cleanse for 14 days, and afterwards slowly began to add fish and chicken, turkey and on occasion lamb, I want to begin to live this lifestyle of eating right. I have been feeding my body the wrong stuff for 26 years it’s time for a change, and I’m glad it has come soon rather than later.

Love,
